Obedience training

For those looking to enhance their obedience skills for sports and competition, we offer specialised sessions with our trainer, Andy. A proven success on the trial field himself, Andy has also coached numerous handlers to achieve remarkable success in their own sporting journeys. He is dedicated to expanding his knowledge and employs a varied and flexible training approach, allowing him to adapt and tailor his coaching to meet the unique needs of both dog and handler.

These sessions are held on a 1-to-1 basis with you, your dog and our trainer so that we can focus on the specific areas of obedience you want to improve.  Sessions are typically 50 minutes duration, but longer sessions may be offered dependent upon your needs.

Tracking

We all know that dogs have a far superior sense of smell compared to humans.  Tracking is one way in which your dog can utilise its innate ability to follow scents left by individuals or objects, providing both physical and mental stimulation.  Tracking can not only be a fun activity for your dog, but it is also a key part of both IGP sport and Working Trials.  Our trainer Andy has achieved excellent tracking scores at IGP trials and is an experienced tracking instructor and qualified tracklayer.

Dependent upon your ambitions for tracking, sessions can be booked on a 1-to-1 basis with you, your dog and our trainer to ensure you are given a focused service to meet your needs.  Sessions are typically 50 minutes duration.  Alternatively you might be invited to join one of Andy's regular tracking groups.
